I really like how this one turned out. Definitely want to recreate this scene in 3D. That was my last entry in Inktober for 2025. Client work and general life got busy. At the time of writing this, I'm not sure if I'll join in on Inktober in 2026. The prompts are useful if you are stuck for something to draw but if anything, I have too many ideas in my head, unrealised.

Toy Picnic in the Woods with Fairies

I started this back in 2009 and am happy to finish the inking process in less than two years (!)
I have had a struggle with maintaining good tone in this one so I won't be leaving it as a black and white piece but will be digitally colouring it.

On a side not. Please Pilot (of Japan) do not stop making these drawing pens. I've used them for at least 25 years and they've served me flawlessly and whole a lot better than the more expensive, high maintenance Radiograph pens.
